JSSC Stenographer Syllabus 2024

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued the JSSC Stenographer Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Candidates can access the JSSC Stenographer Syllabus and Exam Pattern on the JSSC’s official website. Applicants must review the curriculum and exam pattern to improve their exam preparation.

The written exam part of the selection procedure consists of two papers: Paper 1: Hindi and English Language, and Paper 2: Regional Language. The Written Exam will be performed offline and will use an OMR-based system. The exam can be taken in two languages: Hindi and English. JSSC Stenographer Paper I Syllabus

The JSSC Stenographer Paper I Syllabus includes four main topics: Hindi, English, General Studies, and Reasoning and Mental Ability. In the Hindi and English parts, applicants will be asked questions about paragraphs, grammar, and unseen passages. The General Studies portion comprises questions about current events, India, Jharkhand state, and general science. The Reasoning and Mental Ability section at the matriculation level assesses verbal and nonverbal reasoning, analogy, similarity and difference, problem-solving, analysis, visual memory, and numerical reasoning, including series and code interpretation.

JSSC Stenographer Paper II Syllabus

The syllabus for JSSC Stenographer Paper II focuses on regional languages. Candidates must demonstrate competence in one of the following languages: Urdu, Santhali, Bengali, Mundari, Ho, Khadai, Kudukh, Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, or Oriya. This paper evaluates the candidates’ comprehension and skills in the specified regional language, which are required for the exam.

JSSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2024

To advance to the next round, students must first pass the written exam. The JSSC Stenographer test Pattern for the written test is as follows:

  1. The exam will be administered using OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions.
  2. Each question carries 3 points.
  3. For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
  4. Both papers have 100 questions each.
