The UP Police Constable Re Exam Date Notice 2024 has been out through a viral notice. The dates for the re-examination for the recruitment of constables (civil police) have been issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).This will aim to fill a total of 60,244 positions. The major hiring campaign will take place across two daily shifts between August 23 and August 31, 2024.
The announcement follows the cancellation of the original UP Police Constable exam scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2024, on the grounds of possible paper leaks. More than 48 lakh students attended the examination. The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed transparency and maintained the integrity of the process. As he ordered the re-examination to be done within six months after the cancellation. He also promised that the integrity of the exams would not be compromised.
UP Police Constable Re Exam Date 2024
The state-wide re-examination for the UP Police Bharti 2024 is all set to take place in the month of August. The exam is scheduled for August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31. There will be two shifts for the exam, with over 5 lakh applicants taking the test in each shift. According to the notification, the Janmashtami festival is the main reason for the exam date gap. UP Police Bharti Exam: Exam Cancelation
Earlier, in the month of February, the paper was canceled due to allegations of paper leak. Over 48 lakh students appeared for the exam. On February 17 and 18, about 16 lakh of them were women. In all 75 of Uttar Pradesh’s districts, 2,835 locations hosted the exam. However, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the cancellation of the exam for the selection of Reserve Civil Police positions. And asked for the reconduct of the examination within 6 months.
Previously, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had established an internal committee. This was to investigate the alleged leaks of documents and the dissemination of exam questions and answer sheets on social media. Under the direction of Chairperson Renuka Mishra, this committee reaffirmed its dedication to merit-based selection and total transparency.
Free Bus Service Facility Will be Offered
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will provide complimentary bus service to candidates who show up on the UP Police Constable Re exam Date 2024. The aspiring candidates may utilize this feature whenever it is most convenient for them. However, in order to use this feature, candidates who are taking the bus must download two extra copies of their admit card, one of which they must show the bus conductor when traveling to the examination center’s district and the other copy when returning to their district following the test.
