The IITR has extended the GATE Exam 2025 Application Dates. The official website of IITR states that the last day for applying with late fee has been extended up to 11 October 2024. Applicants had sent several requests to the Institute for an extension of the window for registration. Earlier, the candidates could apply till 03 October, 2024. However, after several applicants pleaded for an extension on their registration/application deadline, this online registration/application process will now close at 11:59 PM on 11th October 2024 (Friday) with a Late Fee only. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee opened the registration process online for the GATE Exam from August 28, 2024. According to the updated dates, candidates could fill out the application form for IIT GATE 2025 beginning August 28.
However, the application dates are announced by the organization through an official notice. The last date to apply was September 26, 2024. Moreover, the last date to submit the application fee was earlier October 7, 2024. The exam will be conducted on 01, 02, 15 and 16 February, 2025 in a CBT mode. What is GATE Exam 2025?
The Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering is a postgraduate level admission exam jointly organized by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore. - Go to the official GATE 2025 website by clicking on the link given above.
- Fill out the online registration form with your name, valid email address, country of residence, mobile number, and password.
- The Registration ID will be generated; create and store a password for future usage.
- Log in using your Registration ID and password to finish the registration process.
- Upload the scanned copies of your portrait, signature, and all other required papers.
- After uploading the required documents, click the “Save and Submit.” button.
- Pay the application fees via an online payment mechanism, such as a debit/credit card, internet banking, or UPI.
Application Fee
To complete the application procedure, candidates must pay the necessary online application costs for each category. Applications will not be accepted without payment of application costs. The dates for application fees has been extended till 11th October, 2024. The application fee plus the late fee to apply for GATE 2025 is ₹1400/- for Female/SC/ST/PwD category candidates and ₹2300/- for all other candidates including foreign nationals.
