Two candidates were removed from the Bhagalpur exam due to document concerns. PTI said that two of the four arrested in Patna had identical names and the names of their fathers were also the same. The police are pursuing two additional candidates who were involved in malpractices.
Fraudulent Activities Uncovered during Bihar Police Constable Exam
PTI reported that nine non-candidates were arrested for fraudulent acts during the examination. Police discovered 71 forged question papers, 92 fake answer sheets, 145 admission cards, and 45 mobile phones. Police are conducting additional investigations, according to the statement.
Bihar Police’s Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has discovered at least 15 telegram channels, three WhatsApp groups, and eight UPI IDs used by scammers to entice parents with promises of enhanced scores and exam clearance.
