The certificates that expired on the date of this notification (August 6) will be considered valid for teachers. In October 2020, the state government increased the STET/HTET validity duration from five to seven years. This decision will assist thousands of individuals hoping to be government teachers. The Haryana government made this decision based on the CTET, whose validity was recently extended from seven years to forever.

HTET Certificate Validity 2024

HTET Certificate Validity 2024 Qualifying Marks
To qualify for the HTET 2024 exam, a candidate must score at least 60% out of 150. The passing standards for the STET and HTET tests differ per category. For applicants in the General or OBC categories, the passing threshold is set at 90 out of a possible total score, which equals 60% of the total marks. For SC/PH applicants from Haryana, the passing level is somewhat lower at 82, accounting for 55% of the total score. SC/PH students from other states must, however, obtain the same passing marks as the General/OBC category, which is 90 points or 60% of the overall score. This difference ensures that passing thresholds are consistent with category-specific criteria and regional considerations.
