AEES Teacher Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for the AEES Teacher Recruitment varies for each post. The candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications according to the posts they want to apply for.
AEES Teacher Educational Qualification for PGT
- A Master’s Degree from a recognized university in the topics listed below, or an equivalent from a recognized university in the relevant subjects.
- Six-year Integrated Postgraduate Course with B.Ed. (after Class XII) from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the relevant topics.
- Post-graduate degree from a recognized institute in the topics listed below, followed by a four-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- Computer proficiency and ability to teach in English are required.
AEES Teacher Educational Qualification for TGT
- A three-year bachelor’s degree in the relevant areas or a mix of topics from a recognized university.
- Four-year integrated degree with a B.Ed. degree from an NCERT Regional Institute of Education/any National Council for Teachers Education/recognized institute in the relevant subject(s) or combination of topics.
- The candidate’s professional qualifications must be current as of the application’s deadline.
- Proficiency in teaching English (with the exception of TGT (Marathi) and Hindi/Sanskrit.
- Working knowledge of computers
AEES Teacher Educational Qualification for PRT
- Pass the Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, Intermediate, or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or comparable CGPA, and English as a subject at the +2 level.
- A two-year diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed.), a four-year bachelor’s degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed.), or a two-year diploma in education (D.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
AEES Teacher Educational Qualification for Preparatory Teacher (Bal Vatika)
- Pass the Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, intermediate or equivalent.
- Qualifications required: Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Care & Education Program (D.E.C.Ed.) or equivalent.
- All of the above courses must be completed in one year or two years, or by earning a B.Ed. (Nursery) from a National Council for Teacher Education-accredited university.
- English is a subject in class XII.
- Proficiency in teaching in the English medium is needed.
AEES Teacher Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the AEES Teacher Recruitment consists of two stages. The candidate must clear all the stages to be selected. The stages of the AEES Teacher Selection Process are below:
Written Test
The screening process includes a 50-mark objective type test (MCQs) in each subject for 1½ hours. Candidates may be required to take a written examination that evaluates their knowledge, teaching ability, and subject-specific competence. Candidates with scores of 50% or higher (SC/ ST/ OBC/ Divyang) will be considered for the Skill Test.
Skill Test
For those who have been shortlisted based on their written test scores. This step assesses the candidate’s practical teaching abilities, communication skills, and general aptitude for the teaching position. Selected candidates will fill temporary positions in AEC Schools/Jr. College in Mumbai.
