Orissa High Court Translator Exam Pattern 2024

It is always a good idea to check the Odisha High Court exam pattern because it will inform candidates about the marking scheme, exam duration, number of questions, and other details. The candidates must know the exam pattern of all the phases listed below:

  1. Prelims Exam
  2. Mains Exam 
  3. Computer Application Test 

Finally, Viva Voce for those who cleared the previous three processes. Candidates are then assigned to positions based on their Viva-Voce performance.

Preliminary Test

  1. The examination is of objective nature. 
  2. There are 0.5 negative markings.
  3. The duration is 2 hours. Candidates must secure at least 33% (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) and 40% (Others).

  1. The exam is of objective nature, except for English.
  2. The duration for English and Mathematics is 2 hours, while for General Awareness and Reasoning is one hour.
  3. To qualify for the next round, students must score at least 33% of the total marks (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) and 45% (Others).

Viva Voce Test

Candidates who pass the written exam will be called in for the Viva-Voce test. This round will be scored for 40 points. Marks acquired in this test will be added to those obtained in the Written Examination to create a final merit list. The candidates’ names will not be included in the Merit List unless they score at least 40% in the Viva-Voce Test.
