OSSTET Eligibility 2024 has been announced on the official website of Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. The aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria to move through the selection stages. For the OSSTET exam the candidates must meet the age limit, education and nationality criteria. The aspiring candidates do not require a specific age limit to be eligible for the post. The educational qualification will vary depending on the subjects they choose. Apart from this, the candidate can appear as many as times they want to for the post to be eligible. OSSTET Age Limit 2024

The aspirants do not require any specific age limit to be eligible for the examination. The OSSTET eligibility criteria did not mention for the age limit in the notification.

OSSTET Educational Qualification 2024

All the interested candidates must look out for the desirable and eligible educational qualifications. There are two levels for the OSSTET exam and this implies that each level has varied requirements. They are as follows:

Level 1

  1. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or field of their choice.
  2. Along with this, they must have a teacher’s training qualification with an emphasis on elementary education which is particularly for Classes 1–5. A Bachelor of Training (B.Ed) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed) will be preferable.

Level 2

  1. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or have completed graduation in the field of their choice.
  2. In addition, they must possess a Teacher’s Training qualification such as a Bachelor of Training (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed).
