The in-hand AFCAT salary will depend on various positions. For example, the Flying Branch receives a monthly salary range of INR 66,667 to INR 83,333. Moreover, the salary will differ for different ranks as well, for instance you can refer to the position of an Air Commodore Level 13A and their salary will be INR 11,633- INR 18,133  per month and the salary for an Air Vice Marshal Level 14 will be Rs. 12,016-18,183 per month and so on. AFCAT Job Growth 2024

The aspirants can expect multiple opportunities for career growth and promotions after gaining a notable experience. According to the chronology, the first three rankings are eligible for promotions in the AFCAT. Promotions to other positions will be made in accordance with the job description and the manner in which vacancies occur. A person will be promoted to Flight Lieutenant after three years of service as a Flying Officer. They will need to pass a departmental exam in order to be considered for promotion. Moreover, an employee will be ranked as the Squadron Leader after six years of service.
