The AFCAT Recruitment Notification 2024 has been released on the official website of the Indian Air Force. A total of 317 positions have been made available for the aspirants. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is administered twice a year by the Indian Air Force to select applicants for different branches. The applications were started accepting from 1st December, 2023 and closed the application window on 30th December, 2023. The written exam was conducted between 16th to 18th February, 2024. The aspirants must know that for the 2024 AFCAT Recruitment, the Indian Air Force has released a list of 317 openings for Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty. How To Apply for AFCAT 2024?

To apply to for the Vacancies for the AFCAT exam, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Visit the official website or click the link provided above.
  2. Complete the One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) process.
  3. On the page that opens, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
  4. Candidates must provide the following information: Aadhaar details, basic information, address details, educational qualifications, photo, and signature upload.
  5. Review the information and click Submit.
  6. You will get a reference ID and it will display on the screen.
  7. Visit the login page and enter your credentials.
  8. Fill in and verify the form details.
  9. Submit the application and pay.
  10. After a successful payment, a payment reference ID will display.
  11. Complete the form and save or print the application receipt.
  12. Keep the application receipt for future reference and correspondence purposes.

Application Fee

The candidates applying for the position must submit the application fee which is INR 550. The NCC Special Entry do not have to pay any fees as they are exempted. There are all sorts of online payment options for the application fee including credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI. There is no possibility of receiving a refund for the application cost.

AFCAT Eligibility 2024

Age Limit

Educational Qualification

All the aspirants must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics. However, the educational qualifications will vary for various positions such as Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches, Meteorology, and Ground Duty (Technical). AFCAT Selection Process 2024

The aspirants must know that the selection process for the AFCAT Recruitment will include a  written exam and the AFSB test that make up the AFCAT selection process.
