RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2024
There are 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the RPSC RAS preliminary exam, worth a total of 200 marks. The exam lasts for three hours. Every right response results in a positive mark, whereas every incorrect response results in a 1/3 mark deduction. The purpose of the RPSC RAS Prelims Exam is qualifying. It serves as a screening tool for applicants to the RPSC Main Exam. For questions that are not attempted, no points are given or taken away. Since every question is objective, the candidates’ knowledge and abilities will be evaluated in an understandable and direct manner. When assessing the aspirants’ performance, this structure aids in preserving fairness and accuracy.
RPSC RAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
There will be a single, objective-style paper in the preliminary examination, with a maximum of 20 marks. The exam is solely useful as a screening tool. The paper will be similar to the bachelor’s degree level. The candidates’ ultimate order of merit will not be based on the mark they received in the preliminary examination after being deemed qualified for admission to the main examination.

RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern 2024
All candidates who achieve the same marks as may be determined by the Commission for any lower range will be admitted to the Main Examination. However, the total number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be fifteen times the approximate number of vacancies to be filled in the year through the examination. With that the Commission determine that an adequate number of candidates from the reserved categories. Or those who are not present may be admitted by the Commission on the basis of a laxer standard than the norm.
