Approximately 2 Lakh Aspirants skip the UP Police Constable Exam which was recorded on the final day of the exam which is 31st August 2024. Today, August 31, will be the last day of the grueling examination procedure that started on August 23 for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2024.
The exam was administered in 1,174 centers in 67 districts, and thousands of candidates applied to be considered for 60,244 constable positions. This recruiting campaign attracted candidates from throughout the nation, indicating the UP Police force’s popularity on a national level, in addition to Uttar Pradesh. Up to 19.83 lakh candidates took the exam in its first three days, which took place from August 23 to August 25. The UP Police is prepared for the second round of the written exam for constable recruitment, which will be taken on Friday and Saturday in two shifts by 9.63 lakh students. More than 600000 Candidates Appeared on Fourth Day of the UP Police Constable Exam
It is the largest ever recruitment exam in the state’s history. Board authorities reported that 6,77,933 candidates, out of a total of 9,63,613, took the exam on the fourth day in two shifts. According to UPPRPB authorities, 4,81,838 candidates were slated to appear in the recruitment examination on Friday for the first shift and 4,81,775 candidates for the second. However, on Friday, just 3,44,590 candidates showed up in the first shift and 3,47,346 candidates in the second.
Notably, 48,17,441 (48.17 lakh) applicants submitted applications to take part in the written test for 60,244 constable positions in the UP Police. About 20,000 suspect candidates, whose Aadhaar authentication could not be completed online, received instructions from the board ahead of time to provide appropriate identity documentation to have it validated at the testing locations. For verification, they were requested to bring supporting documentation such as their original Aadhar card, passport, driving license, or PAN card.

The officials continued, “According to this statistic, about 28.2% of candidates skipped the exam in both shifts.”
Out of the total 4,81,838 and 4,81,775 applicants in the first and second shifts, respectively, officials claimed that 4,01,870 candidates for the first shift and 4,01,972 candidates for the second shift downloaded their admission cards from the UPPRPB website. He stated, “so, 8,03,842 candidates downloaded their admit cards out of the total 9,63,613 candidates to appear in two shifts on Friday.”
