OSSC JE Exam Pattern 2024

The recruitment process requires candidates to be familiar with the format of both the preliminary and major exams. This section contains details regarding the same.

  1. The preliminary exam will carry 150 total points.
  2. The main exam will yield a final score of 200.
  3. There will be an OMR-based test.
  4. For the Prelims, the exam will last 150 minutes.
  5. For each wrong answer, there will be a 0.25 mark deduction.
  6. Each and every question will be an MCQ.
  7. There will be a 200-point OSSC Junior Engineer Mains Examination. It will evaluate the candidates’ technical knowledge. Below is a full exam pattern for the same.
