The aspirants must learn how to apply for the examination. To apply to for the Vacancies for the JEE Advanced positions, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:

- Complete the One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) process.
- On the page that opens, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
- Candidates must provide the following information: Aadhaar details, basic information, address details, educational qualifications, photo, and signature upload.
- Review the information and click Submit.
- You will get a reference ID and it will display on the screen.
- Visit the login page and enter your credentials.
- Fill in and verify the form details.
- Complete the form and save or print the application form.
- Proceed to pay the application fee and keep the fee receipt.

JEE Advanced Exam Eligibility 2024
The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The position will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions.
Age Limit
The aspiring candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999, for the candidates belonging to the general category. For the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD candidates will get a five-year age relaxation. This implies that they will be required to be born on or after October 1, 1994.
Educational Qualification
The aspiring candidates must have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2024 or 2025. It is compulsory that they have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as essential subjects. Those appearing in 2022 or earlier are ineligible. It is to note that the eligibility conditions apply for result declarations after September 21, 2022.
Earlier admission at IITs
Applicants cannot have been accepted into an IIT via JoSAA 2023, and those whose admissions were canceled cannot apply to JEE (Advanced) 2024. Certain restrictions apply to exceptions.
Number of attempts
A candidate may only take the JEE (Advanced) exam a maximum of thrice in two consecutive years.

In order to be eligible for the JEE Advanced Advanced AAT, students need to have passed the JEE Advanced 2025 exam and met the required cutoff points.
JEE Advanced syllabus 2025

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2024
The JEE Advanced is an entrance exam and is of qualifying nature. This is for a variety of undergraduate programs offered by the IITs. The aspirants must know that it is an online test with 2 papers which will be of 3 hours each. The exam will be objective in nature. There will be three distinct sections on physics, chemistry, and mathematics in each of the two papers. Every question will be of the objective type and intended to assess each candidate’s aptitude, understanding, and analytical skills. There will be MCQs and numerical value-based questions. Both the paper pattern and the total number of questions vary year and are not set in stone. The marking scheme is dynamic and varies annually. For some of the questions, wrong answers there could be negative marking.
