  2. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently live there.
  3. A person of Indian descent who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
