UPSC Civil Services Application Steps 2024
The candidates can start applying from 22nd January 2025 to 11th February 2025 through online mode. Follow the steps which are mentioned below.
- Register on the UPSC website. This is a one-time registration process.
- Login and apply online using your registration ID.
- Fill out the application form including details like education, caste (if applicable), and exam center choices.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and photo ID as per the UPSC guidelines.
- Pay the application fee (free for certain categories; Rs. 100 for others).
- Review your application carefully before submitting it.
- Submit the application and download your registration number for future reference.

Nationality
- You must be a citizen of India.
- Or, a person of Indian origin.
- Or, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet settled in India before January 1st, 1962.

- You must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- General & EWS: 21 to 32 years old (6 attempts)
- OBC: 21 to 35 years old
- SC/ST: 21 to 37 years old
- PwBD: 21 to 42 years old (with relaxation in the number of attempts)
