UKPSC APS Syllabus

The UKPSC APS Syllabus 2024 has been declared through an official notification and it outlines the subjects and exam pattern for aspirants preparing for the Additional Private Secretary posts. The aspirants will have to prepare certain subjects such as General Studies and the Essay & Drafting Test. The General Studies paper will take 120 minutes and carry 100 marks. However, the Essay & Drafting Test will take 180 minutes and this also carries 100 marks. There are several steps in the selection process, which includes assessments in Hindi and English typing, computer exams, Hindi stenography, and English shorthand. The computer exam lasts 90 minutes, and the typing tests in Hindi and English take 10 minutes each to assess certain skills. The UKPSC APS Syllabus 2024 will be divided in two sections: Section 1 will consist of objective type questions in a multiple choice format. There will be subjects from General Studies, computer knowledge and grammar etc.

UKPSC APS Exam Pattern 2024

The UKPSC APS Syllabus also comes with an exam pattern which the candidates must follow in order to score well in their exam. There will be two stages of the exam, the first stage will consist of multiple choice questions in an objective type format. However, the second stage will include a descriptive test. First Stage of Exam Pattern 

The First stage of the exam pattern will consist of a typing test, a computer proficiency exam and Hindi and English shorthand. You must gauge the contents of the table below to know more about the marks and time duration allotment for each exam.

Second Stage Exam Pattern
