The RBI Grade B syllabus 2024 has been declared on the website of Reserve Bank of India through an official notification on 25th July, 2024. The syllabus will comprise of subjects which the aspirants must prepare in order to qualify the exam. The subjects will consist of an English section, Economics section and a finance section. The candidates will have to prepare according to the exam pattern which will differ for phase 1 and phase 2. The results of the “Online / WE” (Paper I, II, and III) and the combined interview will determine the final selection. There will be a 75-point interview. The candidates preparing for the RBI Grade B exam will have to prepare for the exams in two phases. The exam will take place in two phases: phase 1 and Phase 2. RBI Grade B Phase 2 Syllabus for DR General

Each section’s overall score for RBI Grade B Phase 2 is anticipated to be 100. Candidates will have ninety minutes to respond to every question. DSIM Syllabus 

Candidates applying for the DSIM department in the upcoming RBI Grade B recruitment will need to study a distinct Phase 2 syllabus. The Phase 2 syllabus for DSIM comprises three papers: Paper I, which is an objective type exam focused on Statistics; Paper II, a descriptive type exam also centered on Statistics; and Paper III, a descriptive type exam on English.

Four sections make up the Phase 1 of RBI Grade B: Reasoning for DR General, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Please refer to the table below for the preliminary exam pattern.

RBI Grade B Mains Exam Pattern (Phase II)

Candidates must pass Phase I of the RBI Grade B exam to be eligible for Phase II. The Phase II examination includes three papers:

  2. Finance and Management
  3. English (Writing Skills)

The exam will take place for a total of 120 minutes each for both Paper 1 & 2. The total marks for the exam are 200 marks.
