Educational Qualification
For the General category, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in their Bachelor’s degree, as well as in their 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations. For the DEPR category, a Master’s Degree in Economics or Econometrics is a requirement. Or Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Integrated Economics Course, or Finance, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) is mandatory. This must be from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute is required. For the DSIM category, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur, or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade). RBI Grade B Selection Process 2024
The aspiring candidates must be aware of the RBI Grade B officer recruitment Selection Process 2024 before appearing for the examination. The Selection Process for 2024 examination will consist of two to three phases. The different phases are as follows:
Phase I (Preliminary Examination)
