The JPSC Forest Range Officer Syllabus 2024 has been declared through an official notification on the website of JPSC. The candidates will have to prepare subjects such as General Studies, General English, General Hindi and General Knowledge of Jharkhand etc. The candidates must prepare the syllabus according to the exam pattern. In General Studies, there are two exams that require three hours to finish and 200 marks each. A total of 200 marks are awarded for two three-hour papers in each of the two elective courses that candidates must choose. The interview carries 150 marks. JPSC Forest Range Officer Exam Pattern 2024
The JPSC Forest Range Officer Exam Pattern 2024 will include both the written examinations and physical tests. The written exam is divided into several sections: General Hindi and General English. Each worth 50 marks and qualifying in nature, with a total of 100 marks and a duration of 3 hours. In addition to meeting height and chest dimensions, candidates must pass a walking test. This will require them to cover 25 km in 4 hours for men and 14 km in 4 hours for women. The candidates must meet these physical criteria to be considered for the Forest Range Officer position.
Written Exam Pattern
There are two papers in General Studies, each with 200 marks and three hours to complete. Additionally, candidates must select two elective courses, each of which consists of two three-hour long papers with a total score of 200 marks. There are 150 marks for the interview. The aggregate sum of the written exam and interview marks is 1350. Refer to the table below for more details.

Physical Test
The physical test will consist of physical measurements relevant to the height and weight requirements. Apart from that, there will be an endurance test held for both male and female candidates separately. We will update the details after the official notification is out.

Interview
