It consists of some eligibility criteria and parameters which the candidates must meet. The aspirants must be between the age group of 20 to 28 years of age. Apart from this, the candidates belonging to the reserved categories will receive an age relaxation in the upper age limit. They must possess a passing certificate of a bachelor’s degree with working knowledge of Computers in order to be eligible for the post with a knowledge of computers. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2024

The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The position will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions. IBPS Clerk Age Limit 

The aspiring candidates must be between the age group of 20 to 28 years of age in order to be eligible for the post of India Post Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk. This implies that a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004. They must not exceed the age limit by 28 years of age. Apart from this candidates belonging to the reserved categories will receive an age relaxation in the upper age limit.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification

The candidates must possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Apart from this, they must be computer literate with a diploma course or degree in this affair. The candidates must have working knowledge of the operating and working knowledge of computer systems.

In addition to this, they must have a working knowledge of the language of the particular state that they are applying for. The Ex-Servicemen who lack these criteria should be matriculate and have achieved an Army Special certificate or equivalent Education or Navy/Air force certificate. 

IBPS Clerk Nationality 

The candidates must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the post. Apart from that, they must be able to provide the valid document proofs to support their claims. they can be:

  • A subject of Bhutan or Nepal or,
  • A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 to settle in the country permanently or,
  • An Indian person who has come over from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, or Vietnam to settle in India on a permanent note.

The point to note is, the Indian Government must issue the particular candidate with an eligibility certificate. They need not to be a domicile of any particular state to be eligible for the post. The candidates from all over the country are invited to apply for the post. This will be applicable if they meet all the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk eligibility parameters as well.

IBPS Clerk Number of Attempts

The official notification does not mention a specific number of attempts. The candidates can apply as many times as they want to appear for the examination.

IBPS Clerk Experience
