The IBPS Clerk deadline has been extended for the aspirants till 28th July, 2024. The IBPS Clerk Recruitment Notification 2024 has been declared on the website of IBPS. There are a total of 8704 vacancies announced for the post of clerks. The notification was out on 1st July, 2024. The candidates started applying from 1st July, 2024 with the last date to apply on 21st July, 2024. However, now the last date to apply for the IBPS Clerk recruitment is 28th July, 2024. Apart from this, only the candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible for the selection stages. They must be between the age group of 20 to 28 years of age. They will have to go through a preliminary examination and a mains examination to move through the selection stages for the post.

A total of 4545 IBPS Clerk vacancies were announced earlier.  However, the vacancies were revised afterwards. The Unions in the concerned Banks have announced the vacancies which are revised to 8704. IBPS Clerk Application Steps 2024

The aspirants must learn how to apply for the examination. To apply to for the Vacancies for the Institute of Banking Personnel Clerks positions, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Navigate through the official website of the Institute of Banking Personnel  or click the link provided above.
  2. Complete the One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) process.
  3. On the page that opens, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
  4. Candidates must provide the following information: Aadhaar details, basic information, address details, educational qualifications, photo, and signature upload.
  5. Review the information and click Submit.
  6. You will get a reference ID and it will display on the screen.
  7. Visit the login page and enter your credentials.
  8. Fill in and verify the form details.
  9. Submit the application and pay.
  10. After a successful payment, a payment reference ID will display.
  11. Complete the form and save or print the application receipt.
  12. Keep the application receipt for future reference and correspondence purposes.

Application Fee

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2024 

The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The position will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions. There can be further requirements for language proficiency in Hindi, English, or any other state-relevant vernacular language. 

Age Limit

The aspiring candidates must be between the age group of 20 to 28 years of age in order to be eligible for the post of IBPS Clerks. They must not exceed the age limit by 28 years of age. Apart from this candidates belonging to the reserved categories will receive an age relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

IBPS Clerk Salary 2024

The IBPS clerks will receive a lucrative salary package after selection. The pay scale for an IBPS clerk is INR 19,900 to 31,908 depending on experience. The 7th Pay Commission will determine the IBPS clerk’s compensation. For those who join initially, the cash in hand for the IBPS Clerk pay is INR 29,452/- (subject to change).
