HPSC PGT Eligibility 2024
The Haryana Public Service Commission decides the Post Graduate Teacher’s Eligibility for all candidates. Candidates for HPSC PGT positions in 2024 must meet the educational, age, and experience standards given by the Haryana Public Service Commission. Applicants must have the necessary educational qualifications from a recognized institution that are relevant to the position they are seeking for. HPSC PGT Age Limit

Note: Age calculated as actual age minus (actual period of military service plus up to three years of break, if any). If the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit, including other relaxations, the applicant is deemed to satisfy the age limit condition. |
(ix) | Persons who have already worked or are presently working on adhoc/contract/work-charged/daily wages basis in any Department/Board/Corporation of Haryana Government including Government-aided institutions under Haryana Government. | Relaxation in age equal to the number of completed years only on equivalent post on adhoc/contract/work-charged/daily wages basis excluding the period of break, if any, including any other age relaxation admissible, subject to maximum age of 52 years. Note: Once appointed on a regular basis, the person will not be entitled to avail the same age relaxation for any subsequent appointment. The experience certificate(s) of equivalent post issued by the Appointing Authority of the respective Department/Board/Corporation/Government-aided Institution only shall be valid. The experience certificate(s) shall be verified by the HPSC from the concerned Appointing Authorities before granting age relaxation. |
HPSC PGT Educational Qualification
The candidate must have both a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 50% of the required marks to be eligible. The candidates should also have completed their Matriculation, have taken Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject, and have a track record of excellence in the classroom. They must have a good academic record with a M.Sc/M.Com/M.A in a relevant field. Additionally, they must have a B.Ed. from a recognized university.
