The Haryana Police Constable application deadline has been extended now with the last date to apply on 11th July, 2024. The Haryana Police Constable Recruitment was being re-advertised and the application dates were earlier open from 29th June, 2024 to 8th July, 2024. Since in the Police Advt. 01/2024, the applications had been called from 20.02.2024 till 28.03.2024 and no further process regarding the recruitment has happened, therefore, the candidates who have applied for the Police constable posts through Advt. No. 01/2024 need not apply again. However, for those who haven’t applied yet can now apply till the last date which is 11th July, 2024. The official notification was released on 28th June, 2024. After removing the socio-economic criteria related claims, their previous applications shall be considered for further process of recruitment. However, if any candidate still wants to apply afresh, he/she may do it by visiting to above mentioned link.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission earlier released the notification for the post of Constable. A total number of 6000 vacancies have been released for the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024. The candidates could apply between 22nd March 2024 to 28th March 2024 as per the old advertisement. However, they can apply fresh as well. 

  • The candidates must be between the age of 18 – 25 years to apply for the recruitment. 
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the CET scale and called for the Physical test, Knowledge Test and Document Verification.

Haryana Police Constable Apply Online 2024

Earlier, the candidates applied between 22nd March 2024 to 28th March 2024 through online mode. However, the fresh link is available for the candidates below to apply from 29th June, 2024 with the last date to apply on 8th July, 2024. Follow the steps which are mentioned below to apply for the examination.

Step 1: Visit HSSC Website.

Step 2: Locate Application Link: “Apply Online” or “Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024” 

Step 3: Register (New User) or Login (Existing User)

Step 4: Fill Out Application Form: Enter details like name, DOB, education etc.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents: Scan and upload documents as per specifications.

Step 6: Review & Submit Application: Carefully review and submit electronically.

Step 7: Print Confirmation: Print a copy of the submitted application form for reference.

The candidates will be shortlisted by CET Score and called for the below stages of selection:

Age Limit

The age of the candidates must be between 18 – 25 years to attend the recruitment and be eligible for the post. There will be age relaxation for the reserved categories. Refer to the table below to know more details.

Education Qualification

The candidate must have passed Class 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution. Additionally, they must have passed Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. And no candidate will be given extra preference or weightage to have pursued higher education.

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024

The candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks in order to qualify for next selection stages. However, in case of a reserved category, they shall be given concession of 10% which is they will have to secure 40% marks to qualify the round. The exam will be held in an offline mode with an OMR based format. There will be no negative marking. If a candidate does not mark any of the five options for a question then 0.945 mark will be deducted. The total time a candidate will get to complete the exam will be 105 minutes. General Studies, Current Affairs, General Science, Mental Aptitude, etc are the subjects covered. A total of 100 questions are asked. Refer to the table below to know more details.

Haryana Police Constable Salary 2024

The qualifying candidates will be getting an entitlement of a monthly salary. The basic salary will be INR 21, 700 per month. This will include allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance and medical allowance. The salary will follow the guidelines of 7th Pay commission and Level 3 Cell-1.
