The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has opened its registration online for the GATE Application Form from today which is 28th August, 2024. Click the link given in the article to access the application form directly. Previously set to open the application link on 24 August, the Institute has changed the registration dates. According to the updated dates, candidates will be able to fill out the application form for IIT GATE 2025 beginning August 28. The deadline for submitting the normal online application form is September 26. However, the deadline to submit the online application form with a late fee is October 7. The exam will be administered by computer-based testing on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The candidates who are aspiring to apply for the exam must know that the application window will also require the candidates to check the eligibility criteria.

GATE Exam 2025 Application Steps
The application window has been opened now for the GATE Exam 2025. The aspirants must learn how to apply for the examination. To apply to for the Vacancies for the GATE exam, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:

- Complete the One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) process.
- On the page that opens, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
- Candidates must provide the following information: Aadhaar details, basic information, address details, educational qualifications, photo, and signature upload.
- Review the information and click Submit.
- You will get a reference ID and it will display on the screen.
- Visit the login page and enter your credentials.
- Fill in and verify the form details.
- Submit the application and pay.
- After a successful payment, a payment reference ID will display.
- Complete the form and save or print the application receipt.
- Keep the application receipt for future reference and correspondence purposes.

The GATE exam’s application process started from August 28, 2024. To complete the application procedure, candidates must pay the necessary online application costs for each category. Applications will not be accepted without payment of application costs.
