The ECGC PO Syllabus 2024 has been declared through an official notification on the website of ECGC. There will be two tests in the online written exam: an objective test and a descriptive test. ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2024
The ECGC PO exam pattern 2024 is categorized into two sections: Objective paper and descriptive paper. The exam pattern for both the papers will differ. When the entire time allocated for the objective exam will finish then the descriptive paper will begin. The candidates must use a computer to type their responses to the descriptive paper that is available online. In the objective paper, applicants must select the appropriate option from all accessible possibilities. Apart from this, every section of the objective paper will have sectional timing.
However, in the objective paper, applicants will receive 1 mark for each correct answer. The incorrect answers will result in a 0.25 mark penalty.
ECGC PO Exam Pattern for Objective Paper
There are 200 questions in total, spread over five subjects, on the ECGC PO Objective Paper. A maximum of 200 marks are available. The exam consists of 140 minutes overall for each subject, with unique sectional timings to evaluate candidates’ skills in areas including quantitative aptitude, English language proficiency, and reasoning ability.

The 40 marks for the descriptive paper will be awarded over the course of 40 minutes. There will be two subjects covered, specifically writing and essays. There were two options available to the contestants for the questions. In the descriptive portion, there are just two questions that candidates must respond to.
