The National Testing Agency has released the CSIR NET Syllabus 2024. Knowing the syllabus is very important for the candidates who will be attending the examination. The exam is conducted only for 5 subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. CSIR NET General Aptitude Syllabus
Part ‘A’ of the examination will be uniform across all subjects and will consist of a maximum of 20 General Aptitude questions. Candidates are expected to answer any 15 questions, each carrying two marks. This section will account for a total of 30 marks out of 200 for the examination.

CSIR NET 2024 Exam Structure
- Candidates must select one subject from the options: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Earth Sciences
- The examination carries a total weightage of 200 marks and is scheduled for 3 hours. Each question holds a value of 2 marks
