WB Police Rifleman Exam Pattern
There is no such exam pattern or marking scheme for the PMT/PET. As these are qualifying tests with some physical requirements of the candidates. But the final written test will have a marking scheme.
WB Police Rifleman Physical Measurement Test
All the candidates must clear the PMT to be eligible for the PET. The requirements are as follows:
- Male Candidates: For the males in the Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes category, the height and weight required is 160 and 53 respectively. For other categories, the height and weight required is 167 and 57 respectively.
- Female Candidates: For the females in the Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes category, the height and weight required is 152 and 45 respectively. For other categories, the height and weight required is 160 and 49 respectively.
- Third Gender: For the third gender in the Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes category, the height and weight required is 155 and 48 respectively. For other categories, the height and weight required is 163 and 52 respectively.
WB Police Rifleman Physical Efficiency Test
All the qualifying candidates in PMT will be eligible to take part in the Physical Efficiency Test. Refer to the table below to know more details.

West Bengal Police Rifleman Final Written Exam Pattern
The candidates must know that the final written exam will include a total of 85 questions from various subjects like English, General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, Reasoning, etc. The total number of marks awarded will be 85. THe questions will be of objective type in a MCQ based format.There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer of 1/4th marks. Refer to the table below to know more.

WB Police Rifleman Syllabus PMT/PET and Interview
- The candidates must note that PMT/PET are qualifying examinations which means candidates will have to qualify both the stages. There are no marks for the same.
- The interview round is for a total of 15 marks and the questions related to personality, communication skills and suitability of the candidates will be asked.
- The final selection of the candidates will be decided on the marks secured in the Written Test and the interview round.
