The vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer has been increased and the total number of vacancies are 4612. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released an official notification stating a total of 4612 vacancies to be filled. Earlier, 4061 positions vacant were announced. According to the latest notification, the UPSSSC Junior Engineer vacancies have been increased by 360 from 4016. The Commission has increased 236 vacancies to the previously notified openings as per the official notice released on 24th June, 2024. The vacancies are for various departments for the post of Junior Engineer Civil.

UPSSSC JE Application Fee 2024
In order to complete the application process for the appointment of UPSSSC JE post all the applicants will have to pay an application fee. Whether the candidate is from a UR, OBC, SC, ST or EWS category, all candidates are required to pay the application fee which is INR 25. The deadline for submission of the fee is June 28th, 2024. All the eligible candidates must check the selection process which consists of three stages stated as follows:
Paper 1: This will consist of sections with general knowledge, computer knowledge, General Hindi and English and intelligence questions.
Paper 2: This paper will comprise of questions related to Civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
Interview: All the candidates who will clear the two rounds will be eligible for the interview round. This will consist of a general personality and behavioral test.

All the candidates who will be selected for the UPSSSC JE Civil post will be entitled to a salary and some perks. The salary will range between INR 9300 to INR 34,800 according to the various departments and job location of the officer.
