- They can be Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugees who emigrated to India prior to January 1, 1962, with the goal of establishing permanent residence.
- A person has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam and is now permanently residing in India.
- Candidates from these countries other than India must have an eligibility certificate from the Indian government in order to apply for the examination in any situation.
UPSC IFS Number of Attempts
