UPSC IFS Educational Qualification

UPSC IFS Nationality 

The UPSC IFS Eligibility Criteria also lists nationality for candidates seeking to register. The primary requirement for registering for the examination is that the candidate be an Indian citizen.

  1. They can be Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugees who emigrated to India prior to January 1, 1962, with the goal of establishing permanent residence.
  2. A person has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam and is now permanently residing in India.
  3. Candidates from these countries other than India must have an eligibility certificate from the Indian government in order to apply for the examination in any situation.

UPSC IFS Number of Attempts

The UPSC IFS eligibility criteria are highly specific, and candidates must closely adhere to them. The examination also has a maximum number of attempts limit for students who do not pass on their first try.
