The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission will be announcing a Bumper recruitment drive for more than 5000 vacancies. This recruitment drive is going to be done for many positions which will also include the police positions in Uttarakhand. The departments have been asked to submit updated proposals to the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission for the recruitment of around 5,000 Group C vacancies. The departments were given a week to complete this. However, the updated proposals were not sent by the departments. More than 5000 Vacancies to be filled by the UKSSSC

The commission has received applications for over 5,000 positions across multiple departments. These include plans to fill 2000 police constable positions, 600 forest guard positions, 84 foresters, 200 forest tiger guard positions, and 1200 irrigation officer, mate, and stenographer positions, among other positions, in the irrigation department. The study claims that the ideas that were submitted to UKSSSC had numerous errors in them. In the meantime, the legislature has also approved a bill that would grant state formation agitators and their families a 10% horizontal reservation. The commission is currently looking for new ideas by eliminating a number of defects, such as the agitator reservation. Following this, the commission will release the job posting.
