TN TET Eligibility 2024
The candidates who are interested to apply for the post of Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test must fulfill the eligibility criteria. You must be of a certain age and possess some desired educational qualifications. Apart from this, they must be the citizens of India and provide all the documents for verification purposes. The candidates who won’t meet the eligibility, will not be able to apply for the post. TN TET Age Limit
The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old and there is no limit for the maximum age. This implies that they must be older than 18 years to be eligible for the appointment of teacher in Tamil Nadu. That being said, the age limit criteria will vary based on the different roles or reserved categories. For candidates who fall under one of the reserved categories, there might be a maximum age relaxation of 3 to 5 years in the upper age limit. TN TET Educational Qualification
The aspirants who will be sitting for the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test must meet the educational qualification requirements. They must know that if they are applying for the Classes I to 5, then they will need to possess a Higher Secondary passing certificate with some additional qualifications. However, for the positions of Classes 6th to 8th, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. diploma in teaching as a necessary educational qualification. TN TET Nationality
The candidates must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the post. Apart from that, they must be able to provide the valid document proofs to support their claims. Moreover, candidates from any part of the country will be eligible to apply for the post. It is not necessary to belong from the Tamil Nadu state. However, having some knowledge of Tamil Knowledge will be considered desirable. This will be applicable if they meet all the eligibility parameters as well.
TN TET Number of Attempts
The candidates can apply as many as times they want to for the post of Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts as per the notification. We will update if there are any necessary changes.
