The vacancies for the post of SSC Stenographer have been disclosed by the Staff Selection Commission. There are a total of 81 and 1145 vacancies announced for two grades: Grade C & D respectively. The interested candidates follow these simple steps to apply for the SSC Stenographer recruitment 2024:

- Click the link and register yourself by creating an account.
- Keep your passport size photograph, a valid ID proof and educational certificates ready to upload.
- Proceed to pay the application fees and click on submit.
- Keep a hardcopy of the fee receipt and application form for future reference.
SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2024
The candidate’s nationality must be Indian citizens. They can be subjects of Bhutan/Nepal, Tibetan refugees, and Indian origin migrants with permanent intention of settling in India. Apart from this, the candidate must meet the age limit and specific educational qualification eligibility parameters.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age must fall between 18 to 30 years of age for Grade C and between 18-27 years of age for Grade D officers. There will be an age relaxation preference given to the restricted categories.
Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent from a recognized institution to be considered eligible for the appointment of SSC Stenographer.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The SSC Stenographer aspirants must know the selection process before applying for the recruitment process. The Staff Selection Commission has set two stages to qualify for the appointment of SSC Stenographer which are as follows:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): This test will comprise of 3 sections which includes General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and English language. Out of which English has the highest weightage which is 100 marks out of 200 marks.
- Skill Test: The skill test involves evaluation of a candidate’s technical and practical skills in transcribing the text. The typing speed will be a major factor in determining the results. This stage will only be for the candidates who qualify the CBT.
