The SSC MTS released the revised syllabus with exam pattern through an official notification on 27th June, 2024. The candidates appearing for the exam will have to appear for a computer based examination and PST/PET. The computer based exam will comprise of four subjects divided in two sections:Section1 & Section 2. The subjects will include topics from Mathematics, Reasoning Ability, English and General Awareness etc. The exam pattern will also comprise two sections. This implies that section will comprise of 20 questions from each part and 25 questions from each part in section 2. There is no mention of negative marking. Since the SSC MTS 2024 Paper-1 exam is set to take place in July and August of 2024, as you are aware, applicants who are interested in this recruitment drive must start preparing for the test.

SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern 2024: Computer Based Examination
According to the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024 as per official notification, a Computer-Based Test will be held. This will consist of two distinct sessions: Session-I and Session-II. Participation in both sessions is mandatory, and failure to attend either session will result in disqualification. The test will feature multiple-choice questions with objective answers. There will be no negative marking in Session-I; however, in Session-II, each incorrect response will result in a deduction of one mark. Marks will be adjusted through a normalization process. The questions will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 other languages.
Section 1 will comprise of 20 questions in each part and marks allotment will be out of 60. However, section 2 will comprise of 25 questions from each part with maximum marks allotment out of 75. Refer to the table below to know more specific details about the exam pattern.

Physical Efficiency Test 2024
The physical efficiency test is for the male and female candidates both which will determine the candidates physical fitness. Below is the criteria for candidates to pass the examination.

Physical Standard Test 2024
The physical standard test evaluates the candidates on the basis of height and weight measurements. If they are able to meet the criteria, they can qualify the round. Check the Physical standards from the table below:
