SSC JE Application Steps 2024
The candidates started applying from 28th March 2024 with the last date to apply on 18th April 2024. Below are the steps to apply for the recruitment.

SSC JE Eligibility 2024

Age Limit
The general age limit for SSC JE applicants is 30 years. However, there’s an exception for those applying to Central Public Works Department (CPWD) positions. Candidates aiming for CPWD JE roles can be up to 32 years old.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a Degree/Diploma in the concerned field from a recognized university to be eligible for the post of Junior Engineer.

SSC JE Exam Pattern for Paper 1
The 2024 SSC JE Exam will consist of two papers. There will be two papers: one with 200 marks and the other with 300. There are multiple choice questions on both Paper 1 and Paper 2. For each incorrect answer on paper 1, a candidate will lose 0.25 marks, and for each incorrect answer on paper 2, they will lose 1 mark.
