SSC Havaldar Age Limit 

According to the SSC Havaldar Eligibility, the lower age limit for the position of Havaldar at CBN (Department of Revenue) is 18 years old, whereas the upper age limit is 25 years old. In other words, candidates should be born not before February 1, 1998 and not later than January 1, 2005. For the job of Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue), the lower age limit is 18 years old whereas, the upper age limit is 27 years old. In other words, candidates should be born not before February 1, 1996 and not later than January 1, 2005. 

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation has been granted to the candidates who belong to the reserved categories. The relaxation is for the upper age limit. The table below presents the details for the categories recognised by the government.

SSC Havaldar Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the position must have passed the Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from a recognized university. SSC Havaldar Nationality 

Candidates that apply for the recruiting must be:

  1. Citizen of India, 
  2. Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, 
  3. Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before 1st Jan 1962
  4. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam

SSC Havaldar Number of Attempts

The Commission has not set any restrictions on how many times people can apply for the SSC Havaldar recruitment process. Candidates have an unlimited number of attempts to apply till they meet the eligibility criteria and credentials for the job of SSC Havaldar in the Indian Armed Forces.
