The RRB has release the application status for the candidates who applied for the RRB ALP Recruitment. As per the government notification released recently, the RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 schedule of Computer Based Test-1 has been declared on 7th October 2024. As per the date for the test notice, RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam will take place from 25th to 29th November 2024 in shifts. The status can be any of the following: (i) Provisionally accepted (ii) Provisionally accepted with conditions and (iii) Rejected (Along with reasons for rejection). The official board has also put the dates for the application form correction. Candidates who have had their application provisionally accepted, with or without conditions, can make changes to their application.
The Railway Recruitment Board has released the detailed vacancy table according to the categories and regions of the candidate. The RRB ALP Notification 2024 was released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) through an official notification. A total of 18799 vacancies has been announced for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post under various RRBs across the country on 18th June, 2024. Earlier, the candidates were updated with a total count of 5696 vacancies released but now the vacancies has been revised and increased. The application window was opened from 20th January, 2024 with the last date to apply on 19th February, 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for 10th-pass candidates with ITI or Diploma. RRB ALP Application Process 2024

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
The aspiring candidates applying for the RRB ALP Recruitment must check the RRB ALP eligibility conditions specified by the board before submitting their applications. They must meet the age, education, nationality in order to be able to apply for the post.
Age Limit
Candidates between the age group of 18 – 33 years are eligible to apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment.
Educational Qualification
Only candidates with a Matriculation + Apprenticeship/Diploma qualification in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot post.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern
The RRB ALP CBT I exam will be an objective-type test, which will only be qualifying in nature.

- Part B will be of qualifying nature only whereas the marks of Part A will decide the progress of the candidates to the next stages of the selection process.
- The minimum qualifying marks for part B are 35% for all candidates.
- 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
RRB ALP Exam Pattern CBAT
The Computer Based Aptitude Test will be conducted only for the post of RRB Assistant Loco Pilot.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks for this stage are 42 marks in each of the test batteries, irrespective of the category.
- The medium of questions for the CBAT will be English and Hindi.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The merit list for RRB ALP will be prepared only from amongst the candidates who qualify the CBAT stage.
