RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Application Fee

The candidates must pay the application fee as prescribed for the respective category. Details of the same are mentioned below.

Candidates applying for the RRB ALP Recruitment must check the RRB ALP eligibility conditions specified by the board before submitting their applications. 

Age Limit

  • Candidates between the age group of 18 – 33 years are eligible to apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment.

Educational Qualification

  • Only candidates with a Matriculation + Apprenticeship/Diploma qualification in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot post.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern

Candidates preparing for the RRB ALP Recruitment should be familiar with the syllabus and exam pattern. The following are details of the syllabus and exam pattern –

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern

The RRB ALP CBT I exam will be an objective-type test, which will only be qualifying in nature.

  • Part B will be of qualifying nature only whereas the marks of Part A will decide the progress of the candidates to the next stages of the selection process.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for part B are 35% for all candidates.
  • 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern CBAT

The Computer Based Aptitude Test will be conducted only for the post of  RRB Assistant Loco Pilot.

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks for this stage are 42 marks in each of the test batteries, irrespective of the category.
  • The medium of questions for the CBAT will be  English and Hindi.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The merit list for RRB ALP will be prepared only from amongst the candidates who qualify the CBAT stage.
