RBI Assistant Educational Qualification
Candidates for RBI Assistant 2024 must fulfill the required educational qualifications. Furthermore, applicants aiming for a specific recruiting office must demonstrate fluency in the language spoken in that state or any of the states under that office’s authority. Proficiency in a language includes reading, writing, speaking, and understanding it.
- Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- A candidate in the Ex-servicemen category (excluding dependents of ex-servicemen) must be a graduate of a recognized university or have passed the Armed Forces’ matriculation or equivalent test and have served for at least 15 years in the defense force.
RBI Assistant Nationality
To be eligible, a candidate must be
- A citizen of India
- OR a subject of Nepal
- OR a subject of Bhutan
- OR a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A candidate in categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility may be admitted to the test, but an offer of employment will not be made until the appropriate eligibility certificate is issued by the Government of India.
RBI Assistant Number of Attempts
The candidate can take the RBI Assistant Recruitment examination more than once if they meet the age requirements. For example, if a candidate began taking the exam at the age of 20, the maximum number of attempts is limited to eight. The highest age limit is 28 years. However, the number of attempts varies by category, as there are relaxations for categories like as SC, ST, OBC, and so on.
RBI Assistant Experience
Candidates seeking the RBI Assistant position are not required to have any prior experience. Although the applicants need to fulfill all the other criteria mentioned in the RBI Assistant Eligibility to be selected for the position, even if the candidate fails to fulfill any of the criteria, their application will be rejected by the official board.
