For a better performance in the Examination, candidates need to understand the Railway TTE exam pattern. The exam pattern includes a Computer-Based Written Examination (CBE), Medical Fitness Test, and Document Verification (DV) process, which are explained in detail below.
Stage- 1 Computer Based Written Examination (CBE)
The Railway TTE will be held in online mode.
The Railway TTE Examination questions will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The examination will be held in bilingual mode i.e. Hindi and English.
There will be a total of 200 MCQ questions and the total marks for the Railway TTE Examination will be 200 Marks
There is a negative marking of 1/3rd Marks and no marks will be deducted for unattempted answers in the Railway TTE Examination.

Stage-3 Documents Verification Round
The candidates who qualify for the Computer Based Test and Medical Fitness will be called for the Document Verification Round. The candidates will have to submit all the original necessary documents to get recruited for the post of Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE).
