PSSSB Clerk Recruitment Eligibility

All the interested candidates must apply for the appointment of Group C Clerk positions by checking various eligibility parameters. To be eligible for the position, below is the list of parameters that the candidates must meet:

Citizenship

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Punjab.

Educational Qualification 

The candidate must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. With this, they must also have completed a Technology course or equivalent to the “O” Level certificate of the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of the Government of India.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age limit can be 37 years of age. There Age relaxation might be applicable for reserved categories.

PSSSB Clerk Recruitment Selection Process 

The selection process will involve a written test followed by document verification:

Written Test

All the aspirants will first take the written examination which will be a MCQ based test. This test will comprise of subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, English Language, and Computer Fundamentals. The qualifying candidates will be moving ahead for the further stages.

Typing Test (Optional)

All the candidates who will qualify the written examination may take a typing test as well. This may be an additional stage depending on the requirements. This test will assess the candidate’s typing speed.

Document Verification

PSSSB Clerk Salary Details

All the selected candidates will get an entitlement to an in-hand salary. The monthly salary will range INR 19,900 for a PSSSB Clerk. Apart from this all the clerk officers will get some perks and allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Travelling Allowance, etc.
