MHSRB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2024

The Recruitment board emphasizes that the selection of MHSRB Staff Nurses will be based on two key criteria: a written exam and prior experience or service. Applicants must successfully pass the written exam by scoring the necessary qualifying marks set by the Recruitment board. In addition, candidates should have completed at least six months of service in state government hospitals, institutions, or programs on a contract or outsourced basis to be eligible for selection.

Written Exam

The pattern of the exam has to be known by those candidates who are applying to appear for the MHSRB Staff Nurse exam. 100 points would be divided among two selection criteria, that is, 80 – 20. The MHSRB Telangana Staff Nurse exam would be held exclusively in the examination centres and the candidates are instructed to choose two places: Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, and Nizamabad. MHSRB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern: There is a specified test pattern of the MHSRB in the following table.

  • Maximum 80 marks for percentage of marks scored in a written examination
  • The OMR-based examination would comprise 80 multiple-choice questions with one mark for each question.
  • The paper will be conducted in the medium of English. As per the official notification, it has been clearly stated that there will be no negative marking.

Service in State Government Hospitals

On completion of the written test, the candidates are required to submit experience certificates. A maximum of 20 marks would be awarded for service in state government hospitals/institutions/ programs on a contract/outsourced basis. Time between issue and date of commencement of notification is given for receipt of online application forms so that the candidates can get their experience certificates from the competent authority.

  • The candidates must have spent at least 6 months of service in state government hospitals/ institutions/ programmes on a contract/outsourced basis.
  • Points shall be granted for service (contract/outsourced) rendered in state government hospitals/ institutions/ programmes based on certificates issued by the competent authority.
  • The applicants seeking experience certificates should apply to the respective competent authority. They must upload this experience certificate while applying online for the post.
