How To Apply For KPSC KAS 2024?
All the aspirants who want to apply for the appointment of KPSC KAS Recruitment can follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website of KPSC.
- Navigate the home page and search for the link which states “ Recruitment for KPSC KAS 2024”.
- Create an account with your login credentials and register yourself.
- Fill the application form with all your details. Keep the educational certificates, scanned photograph and signature ready to upload.
- Proceed to pay the application fee and click on submit.
- Take a hardcopy of the application fee receipt and form for your future reference.
Application Fee
All the candidates who want to apply for the KAS recruitment 2024 exam will have to pay an application fee. Without the application fee, the application won’t be counted. Candidates belonging to General category have to pay the application fee of INR 600. Whereas the candidates who belong to 2(A), 2(B), 3(A) or 3(B) will have to pay INR 300. For Ex-servicemen the application fee is only INR 50.
KPSC KAS Eligibility
The board has some eligibility parameters for the KPSC KAS appointment which the candidates must meet. Read below to know more about the eligibility:
Citizenship
The candidate must be anIndian Citizen and a resident of Karnataka.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have graduated from a recognized university.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 35 years of age. There will be an Age relaxation parameter for reserved categories up to 5 years. For a detailed view of age relaxation refer to the official notification.
KPSC KAS Selection Process 2024
The board has some selection criterias according to which the recruitment process will take place. The selection process comprises three stages for KPSC KAS. They are as follows:
Preliminary Examination
This exam will include subjects such as General Knowledge, Mental Ability, and Kannada Language Comprehension, etc. This test will include only objective type questions.
Main Examination
The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination will be eligible for Mains examination. This exam will include essay writing, precise writing, and analytical answer writing, problem-solving, and writing skills, etc. This test will include descriptive questions.
Interview/Personality Test
All the qualifying candidates will get a call for a final interview round. The candidates will be assessed on the basis of their personality and communication skills.
