IBPS PO Eligibility 2024

The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection PO Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The Exam will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions. There can be further requirements for language proficiency in Hindi, English, or any other state-relevant vernacular language. IBPS PO Age Limit 

The aspiring candidates must be between the age group of 20 to 30 years of age in order to be eligible for the post of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers. They must not exceed the age limit by 30 years of age. Apart from this candidates belonging to the reserved categories will receive an age relaxation in the upper age limit.

IBPS PO Educational Qualification

IBPS PO Nationality 

The candidates must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the post. Apart from that, they must be able to provide the valid document proofs to support their claims. they can be:

  • A subject of Bhutan or Nepal or,
  • A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 to settle in the country permanently or,
  • An Indian person who has come over from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, or Vietnam to settle in India on a permanent note.

The point to note is, the Indian Government must issue the particular candidate with an eligibility certificate. They need not to be a domicile of any particular state to be eligible for the post. The candidates from all over the country are invited to apply for the post. This will be applicable if they meet all the IBPS PO eligibility parameters as well.
