IBPS AFO Eligibility 2024
IBPS AFO (Agricultural Field Officer) candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 30. Candidates must have completed a four-year degree in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, veterinary science, or a related discipline. Indian citizenship is required, and no prior experience is necessary. Furthermore, there is no restriction to the number of attempts, with some upper age limit relaxations permitted for restricted categories in accordance with government guidelines.

Applicants must hold a four-year degree (graduation) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agri. Marketing & Cooperation, Co-operation & Banking, Agro-Forestry/Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food Science, Agriculture Business Management, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Sericulture.
IBPS AFO Nationality
Candidates must be Indian nationals exclusively. Individuals of Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan refugee, or Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India prior to January 1, 1962.
IBPS AFO Number of Attempts
There is no limit on the number of attempts for the IBPS AFO test. Candidates may apply for the exam as many times as they want, as long as they match the eligibility criteria for age, educational qualifications, and other prerequisites established by IBPS.
