HSSC JE Exam Pattern 2024

The exam pattern will provide applicants a better understanding of how the exam will be arranged. The selection process for the posts will consist of a total of 100 marks, as shown in the table below. The following is the exam pattern.
- An offline written exam will be administered utilizing an OMR Sheet.
- Each question will have five possibilities, and the candidate must select one.
- The examination lasts 105 minutes. Candidates are granted an extra 5 minutes to answer questions that they are unfamiliar with.
- The question papers will be multilingual (English and Hindi).
- Each correct answer earns 0.975 points.
- Each unattempted question will result in a deduction of 0.975 marks.
- There are no negative markings for incorrect answers.
- General awareness, reasoning, mathematics, science, history (including Haryana history), current events, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture, and so on. – 20% weightage.
- Computer terms, fundamentals, word and excel software, PowerPoint, the internet, web browsing, communication, emails, downloading and uploading data to websites, and so on. -10% weightage
- Subject-related questions – 70% weightage
