All the aspiring candidates must know that the total number of vacancies for the 2024 HPSC AE recruitment have not been released yet. The interested candidates must check the previous notification released on November 30, 2023. The candidates must know that in the cycle of 2023, a total of 120 vacancies for Assistant Engineer in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical fields were announced. Application Fees

HPSC AE Eligibility 2024
All the aspirants must know that the selection process for recruitment of HPSC AE will involve some eligibility parameters. The candidates must meet all the age limit and educational qualification parameters. This will decide whether they are eligible for the selection.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering whether Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a recognized university or institution. Along with this, Hindi or Sanskrit up to Higher Education Level will be eligibility requirements. Any minimum experience in some departments in a field related to the engineering domain will be desirable but not mandatory.
Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age limit of the HPSC AE applicants must fall between 21 and 42 years of age respectively. There may be an age relaxation preference valid for certain reserved categories. Refer to the table below to know about age relaxation for various categories.

Additional Relaxation
The Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 45 years of age for unmarried women of Haryana city and for wives of disabled Ex-servicemen with a disability of 20 % to 50% and widows. The Women whose husbands have been ordered civil or criminal to pay maintenance by the courts will also be given this relaxation. Moreover, the women whose husbands have either remarried or women who are legally separated from their husbands or have been divorced, living separately for more than two years are all eligible for this age relaxation.

HPSC AE Selection Process 2024
The candidates must check the different stages involved in the selection process for the post of HPSC AE. There will be two stages for the selection process, a written test and an interview round.Firstly, the Commission will follow a short listing criteria as well to handle the large number of applications well. The following methods are as follows:
- Marks of candidates and the minimum educational qualification mentioned in the advertisement.
- Desirable qualifications or if more than one desirable qualification as mentioned in the notification.
- Higher educational qualifications than the minimum.
- Higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum.
- Any relevant experience before or after the acquisition of minimum/essential qualifications.

Written Exam
This test will take place in an offline mode in a MCQ based format. The exam will cover key subjects like General English, General Hindi, General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, and Engineering subjects from Civil, Mechanical or Electrical, etc.
