HP TET Notification 2024 OUT: Check Application Dates!

HPTET 2024

The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education posted the application form for the HP TET November 2024 on September 27, and the link to apply has been available on the official website for four weeks. Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has released the HP TET Exam Notification for the November shift. HP TET is conducted twice every year – June and November. The exam will be held from 15 to 26 November, 2024 for Language Teacher TET, TGT (Arts) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language Teacher, JBT TET, Shastri TET, TGT (Non-Medical) TET. HP TET Application Process 2024

Candidates can apply for the HP TET Exam from 28 September. The deadline to submit the HP TET Application Form is 18 October and with late fee is 21 October, 2024. The candidates must apply before the deadline to avoid last minute issues. Below are the steps to apply for the exam.

  1. Click on the link given above to fill the HP TET Exam Application Form.
  2. Click on New Registration. Fill up the Online Application Form.
  3. Note down your system-generated Application Number to be used later.
  4. Fill in all columns of the form without leaving any column blank.
  5. On submission, you will get the Application Number for future login.
  6. Use Application Number and your Date of Birth to access subsequent logins.
  7. Take a printout of the Application Number, showing the Transaction ID and Fee Details.
  8. Upload your Photograph and Signature scan and save in jpg/jpeg format. Photograph size: 15 Kb to 20 Kb; Signature size: 10 Kb to 15 Kb
  9. Examination fee is to be submitted ONLINE, so other payment options are not to be considered.
  10. Check all the details and correct if any, and then submit completely.
  11. After submission, print out your Application Form for further purposes.
  12. Form corrections may be done from 22-10-2024 to 24-10-2024 (11.59 pm).
  13. All other details are allowed for corrections except Category and Sub-Category.
  14. Offline application is required for category corrections.
  15. Correction will not be entertained after the closing of the corrections window.

HP TET Eligibility 

To attend the exam, one must meet the eligibility criteria. Check the post wise qualification mentioned below.

TGT Arts– B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. up to 30.8.2009) and 50% marks for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.8.2009. Or 1 year B.Ed. as per NCTE regulations. Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El. Ed). Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.A.Ed. Or B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).
TGT (Non-Medical)– B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. up to 30.8.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.8.2009). Or 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations. Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.Sc.(NM) Ed. Or B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).
TGT (Medical)– B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed). Or B.Sc (Medical) with at least 45% (only for those who have passed B.Ed up to 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009). Or 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations. Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc.(Medical) Ed. Or B.Sc (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).
Shastri TET– Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government.
Language Teacher– B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Or B.A. with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or B.A. with at least 45% with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations. Or B.A. with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education). Or Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by a BA Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or M.A. (Hindi) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Junior Basic Training– 10+2 with 50% marks and a two years JBT certificate course from a recognized institute. Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE regulations. Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education). Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
Punjabi Language Teacher– B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Or B.A. with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or B.A. with at least 45% with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations. Or B.A. with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education). Or Giani with 50% marks followed by BA Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or M.A. (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Urdu Language Teacher– B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Or BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations. Or BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education). Or B.T. with 50% marks followed by BA Examination (English and one additional subject with 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
