Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the ESIC Nursing Officer position must meet specific educational qualifications. They should have completed either B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized university or institute, or a regular course in B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university or institute. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized board or council are also eligible. Additionally, candidates must be registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife with the State Nursing Council. Furthermore, applicants should have at least one year of experience in a minimum fifty-bed hospital after obtaining a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery.
ESIC Nursing Officer Exam Pattern 2024
The ESIC Nursing Officer Exam will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions, each carrying equal marks. Candidates will have a total of 2 hours to complete the exam. Negative marking will apply, with 1/3 of a mark deducted for each incorrect answer. The medium of the test will be English.
