The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the AP TET Exam Schedule 2024 through an official notification. The exam will take place in October. Read the article to know more. The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh does not release any vacancies for the post as the exam is of a qualifying nature. The application window will be open from 4th July, 2024 with the last date to apply on 17th July, 2024. However, the submission of application fee will be starting from 3rd July 2024 and open for submission of application fee till 16th July, 2024. Earlier, the AP TET exam was scheduled to be held between 5th August to 20th August 2024. However, the exam is postponed.
Only the candidates who will be qualifying the exam will be eligible for the selection. Apart from this, the candidates must hold a degree in the discipline they wish to teach, passing certificate of Class 12th and a Diploma in Elementary education. AP TET Exam Schedule 2024
The exam schedule for the AP TET exam has been released for the candidates as the exam was postponed. The exam will now take place in October. Moreover, the exam will be held in two shifts: Shift 1 and Shift 2. Shift 1 will take place in the morning from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon. As the exam is of qualifying nature, the organization does not release any vacancies for the position. You will have to clear both the papers and then the schools or institutions across the Andhra Pradesh state release the vacancies for the requirement of teachers.
AP TET Exam Application Steps 2024
The aspirants must learn how to apply for the examination. To apply to for the Vacancies for the AP TET positions, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:
- Navigate through the official website of the AP TET or click the link provided above.
- Complete the One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) process.
- On the page that opens, click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment.
- Candidates must provide the following information: Aadhaar details, basic information, address details, educational qualifications, photo, and signature upload.
- Review the information and click Submit.
- You will get a reference ID and it will display on the screen.
- Visit the login page and enter your credentials.
- Fill in and verify the form details.
- Submit the application and pay.
- After a successful payment, a payment reference ID will display.
- Complete the form and save or print the application receipt.
- Keep the application receipt for future reference and correspondence purposes.
Application Fee
The application process will be incomplete without the submission of an application fee. The candidates will have to submit the fee. Few of the reserved categories will get exemption from the fee payment. The candidates who will be applying for the post will have to complete the application process by paying a fee of Rs.750.00 through Payment Gateway for submission of application fee Online.
AP TET Exam Eligibility 2024
The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the AP TET Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The position will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions. There can be further requirements for language proficiency in Hindi, English, or any other state-relevant vernacular language.
Age Limit
The aspiring candidates do not have to be of a certain age to be eligible for the post of primary teachers, upper primary teachers and secondary teachers.
Educational Qualification
All the aspiring candidates must have a passing certificate of intermediate from a recognized board or institution to be eligible for the post. Apart from this, they must have a diploma in elementary education.

The candidates after the selection for the exam of AP Teachers Eligibility Test will be getting an entitlement to an annual pay which will range between INR 62,400/- to INR 2,42,400. According to the 7th pay commission, the basic monthly salary will range between Rs. 5200-20200/. It will increase as per the seniority.
