AP DSC SGT Eligibility 2024
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications in order to apply for the Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) Secondary Grade Teacher exam eligibility qualifying factor. You have to meet specific age criteria and have the necessary amount of education. In addition, they must be Indian nationals and present the necessary documentation for identification. Applicants who do not meet the eligibility requirements will not be permitted to apply for the position. AP DSC SGT Age Limit
The aspiring candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 44 on July 1st, 2022, the date the notification of selection for the relevant job is made, in order to be considered for the AP DSC SGT post.
Age Relaxation

AP DSC SGT Educational Qualification
The aspiring candidates must possess an Intermediate Certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or an equivalent certificate recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. In addition to this, they should have completed a two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), with certification from the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, or an equivalent certificate recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
As an alternative, candidates may hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and a graduation degree with at least 50% of the possible points. Note 1: Candidates may be considered for the SGT post if they hold a Bachelor of Education degree from any NCTE-accredited university, but only if they complete a six-month Elementary Education Bridge Course within two years of being appointed as Secondary Grade Teachers. Note 2: Candidates for the SGT post may additionally hold a two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), in addition to a direct degree.
AP DSC SGT Nationality
The candidates must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the post. Apart from that, they must be able to provide the valid document proofs to support their claims. This will be applicable if they meet all the eligibility parameters as well.
AP DSC SGT Number of Attempts
There is no such requirement mentioned in the notification on the restrictions related to number of attempts. They must not exceed the maximum age limit to be able to apply for the post.
